PLACEMENT PHILOSOPHY

Finding the right family for every puppy.

A puppy is more than a purchase.

Bringing a puppy home is the beginning of a relationship that may last 12–15 years or more. That's why we believe choosing a puppy—and choosing the family who will raise them—deserves the same thoughtfulness and care that goes into raising each puppy.

Our Approach to placement

We don't believe finding a puppy should be a simple transaction. Our goal is to understand each family's lifestyle, experience, expectations, and home environment so we can make thoughtful placement decisions. We consider both the needs of the family and the individual temperament, personality, and needs of each puppy.

Why We Don't Believe in “First Come, First Served”

Getting to Know Your Family

Our application is an opportunity for us to get to know you—not simply to determine whether you can purchase a puppy. We want to understand your household, your daily routine, your experience with dogs, and what you're hoping for in a companion. The more we understand about your family, the better we can help determine whether one of our puppies is the right fit.

A Lifelong Commitment

We don't believe puppies should simply be placed on a first-come, first-served basis. Every puppy has their own developing personality, temperament, energy level, and needs—and every family has their own lifestyle and expectations. We consider those differences when making placement decisions, because the best match isn't always the first match.

Bringing a puppy home is a commitment that extends far beyond the day you take them home. Your puppy will depend on you for their health, nutrition, training, companionship, grooming, and everyday care throughout their life. We want our families to feel prepared for that responsibility, and we hope to remain a resource for them long after their puppy leaves our home.
